God Cares About the Details!

We had our first meeting today for the Me to We Tri County school trip which I will be a part of in March 2012. It was an information meeting and we all learned alot already. We learned that we each have to raise approximately $3200. which will cover not only our flight, food and accommendations (tents) but will also cover the project cost of building a school! We have 12 months to raise the money. Yikes! But I digress, that's not what I wanted to talk to you about.

What I wanted to share with you today is the fact that the God that I serve, the God who hung the stars, moon and planets, who created all the earth, also created us in our mother's womb and formed our tiniest parts. He is a God of detail! Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to go to Africa and be with the women and children of Africa and learn about their lives. Well today as we were getting our itinery we found out that on one of the days we get to spend part of the day with one of the African 'mamas' and their children in their home! God knew I have always wanted to do this and He has opened the door for me to be able to! This is more exciting to me than even seeing the wild animals or anything else. To think that I will be able to sit with another mother on the other side of the world and help her carry her water for her family and help her prepare a meal, is just too wonderful to imagine! That's what these trips are really for.

God is so good. He cares. He really cares. He cares about the big things in your life but He cares about the smallest things too. Trust Him with your dreams. He cares about the smallest detail of your life. Please pray for us as we fundraise to build this school for the children of Kenya. Several people have asked me how they can donate towards this project. You can by sending a cheque made payable to Me To We Tri County and mail it to me: Laurie Pass

every little bit helps and together we can build this school!
