You Won't Believe Your Eyes!

As a child of God, knowing that we have the promise of spending eternity in Heaven, is a wonderful thing. We know 'there'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there and forever I will be with the One who died for me. What a day, glorious day that will be' (as the song says). We read in Revelation about the street of gold by the crystal river; about the mansions He has prepared for us and the walls of the city which are made from beautiful gems. When you get there, you won't believe your eyes! 

But I believe that God doesn't wait until we get to Heaven to wow us. I think, if we are looking for Him, we will see Him and He will show Himself to us in ways we never could have imagined. 

"However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—"

(1 Corinthians 2:9)

Yes, I believe that we have Heaven to look forward to and it is going to be amazing, but I think we can be amazed while here on earth too by the wonders of the Lord. God is more than you could ever imagine. He loves you more than you could ever understand. He provides for you in ways you just couldn't conceive. 

And all He asks for in return is your love. He wants you to place Him first in your life; to love no other gods (those things that take priority)  more than Him. If you do love Him that much, if He truly is first in your life, He will abundantly bless you and you won't believe your eyes!
