Psalm 116:16
Truly I am your servant, LORD; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains.
This was one of the verses that was shared in Matthew's memorial service. It spoke to me on so many levels. I'm thankful that I had a godly grandmother and mother and that I raised my son to know and love the Lord. I hope that someday I'll be freed from the chains that hold me to this earth, just as he was. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is with my mother and grandmother and someday I'll join them. Above everything else keep your heart, mind and soul focused on eternity. Put your trust in the One Who holds eternity in His hands.
