We all have a sphere of influence and may not even realize it. Our actions always affect others in one way or another. Our decisions may change the course someone's life may be headed. Our opinions may influence others to change their opinions. Our lives are changed by the people who come into them. I have always thought that if the Lord brings someone into my life it's because I am to learn something from that person or my relationship to them. I don't believe in coincidence and I believe that all things happen for a reason.
Having said all that, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I have people from Canada, United States, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore,Argentina, Poland, Mexico and Denmark who view my blog. I can guess who some of them are but I don't know most of the people represented by those numbers. For some of the countries I can't even begin to fathom out how they found my blog. But I am glad they did. It connects us in some way and it makes me even more aware of how we must guard our words and make them all pleasing to the Lord.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Psa 19:14
If we truly believe this verse and this is truly our desire, then we have a part to do too. We must guard our tongues. We must think before we speak so that what comes out of our mouths IS pleasing to the Lord and is acceptable to Him. It's something we all have to be on guard for and it is something that is attainable with the Lord's help. When we focus on Him and meditate on Him, then the words of our mouth will be sweet and pleasing.
I do thank each and every one of you who have viewed and/or followed my blog. My sincerest wish is that it would bless you and would draw you into a closer relationship with Christ. God bless.
